The Wilbur D. May Museum is hosting “The Lost World of Dragons” exhibit, courtesy of Stage Nine Exhibits.
The exhibit debuted in January and is running through April 27, 2025, during normal museum business hours 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday to Saturday, and 12-4 p.m. on Sunday.
Tickets are $13 for adults and $11 for children and seniors. Children under 3 receive free admission. Special Group Rates are available for groups (15+ attendees) at $7 per person, and educators can reserve a time for tours and field trips Wednesday-Friday, at 10 a.m., 12 p.m., or 2 p.m.
“The Lost World of Dragons” showcases dragons from all over the world and educates visitors on how dragons fit into different cultures by featuring animatronic dragons, photo ops, interactive exhibits such as a VR Dragon Rider experience and a stop-motion movie creator, as well as a large overarching challenge for dragon enthusiasts to find clues for.
Anyone interested in hosting a special evening event can contact Assistant Curator Wes Jahn at wjahn@washoecounty.gov.
