Washoe County Hosts Fuse Fellow to Tackle Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Climate Planning

Washoe County has launched a Sustainability program and enlisted Emily Stapleton, an employee of Fuse Corps, who will be embedded with the program to lead the County’s work to conduct a community-wide greenhouse gas inventory. She will also engage members of the community to develop plans to reduce emissions and improve climate resiliency across multiple sectors – buildings, transportation, energy, food, and waste.
