Reno, Nev. July 2, 2018. All businesses within the State of Nevada are required to file a Declaration of Business Personal Property annually with the County Assessor by July 31, or 15 days from the date of the Notice to File, whichever is later. If you own a business and do not file, the Assessor is required to estimate the value of your business personal property. You will be responsible for any tax bill resulting from that estimate.
If you have questions or need help filling out a declaration, the Washoe County Assessor’s Office will be holding training sessions (registration is not required):
Wednesday, July 11, 2018 from 1-2 p.m.
Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 9-10 a.m.
Both training sessions will take place at:
