Second Judicial District Court hosts ‘Lawyer in the Library’ special event

The Washoe County Law Library of the Second Judicial District Court has partnered with the Northern Nevada Women Lawyers Association to host a special Lawyer in the Library event to celebrate Law Day 2025, May 1.

Attorneys specializing in Family Law, Civil/General Law, Probate Law, and Landlord/Tenant Law will volunteer their time to provide free legal assistance. Each participant will get a 15-minute session to talk with a lawyer.  A Spanish interpreter will be available.

It will be held Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Washoe County Law Library at 75 Court St. in downtown Reno.  No registration is required.  First come, first served.

All volunteer attorneys are members of the Northern Nevada Women Lawyers Association.

The Washoe County Law Library’s mission is to enhance access to justice by providing information and partnering with organizations to help ensure the legal needs of the community are addressed.
