Join us this weekend for Living History at Bowers Mansion

The historic Bowers Mansion will begin its 2024 tour season with a Living History Event this weekend. Return to the days of Nevada’s statehood, bring a picnic lunch, enjoy the grounds and tour the mansion. 

Enjoy live music by Sage Creek Bluegrass and food from the Codfather food truck. There will be exhibits and demonstrations from 1864, the year that Nevada became a state, throughout the mansion and grounds. Docents will lead a mansion history talk at the top of each hour, and self-guided tours of the historic Bowers Mansion will be available for $8 Adults, $6 Children & Seniors (cash only).

WHEN: Saturday, May 18, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.   

WHERE: Bowers Mansion at 4005 US Highway 395 North, Carson City, NV (Washoe Valley).

This weekend also marks the kickoff of “Programs on the Porch” at Bowers Mansion, a six-week family music and presentation series on Friday nights. Mark your calendar for the next Living History event October 19.
