November is National Adoption Awareness Month

Reno, Nev. Nov. 2, 2020. Nevada Wolf Pack Athletics and the Washoe County Human Services Agency (HSA) are teaming up to celebrate hundreds of Washoe County’s foster and adoptive families at this Thursday’s Have a Heart Adoption Awareness Football Game at Mackay Stadium on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2020, at 4 p.m.

When: Thursday, Nov. 5, 2020, at 4 p.m.

As part of Adoption Awareness Month, the Human Services Agency is holding a Children in Care Drive By Donation Drive on Friday, Nov. 13, 2020, from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m., at Target in Sparks. Those wishing to donate to children don’t even have to get out of the car, but can drive up to the Regional Transportation Commission bus and hand clothing to staff. Brand new clothing items needed include: jackets, coats, gloves, socks, blankets, sweatpants, boots, beanies, hooded sweatshirts, and gift cards.
