Washoe County is seeking public input on proposed Development Code Amendments

Washoe County is looking for the public’s input on potential Development Code Amendments relating to: 
To possibly add a provision for addressing density/intensity standards and lot sizes for nonconforming lots; 
AND 
To remove from Table 110.410.10.3, the parking space requirement for Personal Storage Uses for 1 loading space per unit.

What:           Public Workshop about proposed amendments to Washoe County Code Chapter 110 (Development Code), Article 406 Building Placement Standards and Article 410 Parking and Loading
When:          Wednesday March 20, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Where:        Human Resources Conference Room (Room A210); Second Floor, at the top of the stairs in  Building A, Washoe County Administration Complex, 1001 East Ninth Street, Reno
The Washoe County Community Services Department’s Planning and Building Division is hosting a public workshop regarding proposed amendments to Washoe County Code Chapter 110 (Development Code) relating to:

Article 406 – Building Placement Standards, to add to Section 406.05, General, a provision concerning nonconforming lots density/intensity of development on the parcel and the setbacks. Click HERE to access the Draft Ordinance; and

Washoe County staff will be available to discuss the proposed amendments from 5:00 pm to 6:00 p.m. Following public input, the amendments will be discussed by the Washoe County Planning Commission. The public hearing is tentatively scheduled for the May 7, 2019 Planning Commission meeting starting at 6:30 p.m.
