Annual Salary: $78,936.00 – $102,648.00
Position Information: The Plans Examiner reviews construction plans and specifications for completeness and compliance with building codes, state laws, and local ordinances; and performs related work as required.
Plans Examiner Trainee
Annual Salary: $67,433.60 – $87,651.20
Position Information: The Plans Examiner Trainee performs entry level technical work in the plan checking and review process of building permits; and performs related work as required.
This position is in a flexibly staffed class series. The hiring department has the discretion to hire at any level within the class series for which the applicant may be qualified. Applicants interested in being considered for each level within the series must submit an application for each position.
