Annual Salary: $64,625.60 – $84,032.00

Position Information: The Heavy Equipment Operator (Incline Village) performs journey level work in the operation of heavy equipment used in the construction and maintenance of County roads and facilities; and performs related work as required.
Incline positions are covered under the WCEA non-supervisory contract, per Article 35 – Assignment Differential/Incline Transportation Allowance, subsections Assignment Differential (Incline/Gerlach/Vya) and Incline Transportation Allowance: NS-WCEA-2024-2028-Signed-CBA2.pdf (washoecounty.gov). This benefit currently includes $400.00 biweekly for all employees assigned to and residing in Incline Village, or $150.00 transportation allowance per pay period for non-residents of Incline Village assigned to that location.
The Community Services Department additionally offers benefits to positions meeting location – specific department requirements (as applicable) during approved operational periods including but not limited to: Paid commute time; Washoe County provided carpool; eligibility to claim 24 miles of mileage roundtrip.
