If you receive a Tax Cap Claim form in the mail, please fill it out and return it to the Assessor, or file it online. This mailing is the for upcoming 2026/2027 fiscal year and is due by June 30, 2027, and we request that you send it by June 15.
Exemptions can be applied toward real property tax, personal property tax or toward the Government Service Tax of your vehicle registration at the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles. The Assessor’s Office reminds exemption holders that in order to apply the exemption toward real property taxes, the renewal must be filed with the Assessor’s Office by June 15, 2024.
