The Washoe County Assessor’s Office will be updating its street-level images to assist in its assessment processes, Assessor Chris Sarman said today.
Over the next several months, teams from NCTech will be driving neighborhoods to capture street-view images. NCTech is a contractor for the Assessor’s Office, and working on behalf of Washoe County. These images are used to establish a visual record for fair and equitable property assessments and to maintain accurate public property databases. It is part of the assessor’s ongoing commitment to ensure data accuracy and to increase efficiency through a transparent process.
All NCTech drivers will have a verification letter from the Assessor’s Office in their possession, and residents with questions or concerns are encouraged to contact the Assessor’s Office at 775-328-2200.
