This award is for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2014, and marks the 33rd consecutive year Washoe County has received the prestigious honor.
“On behalf of Washoe County, I am proud to accept this award for the highest level of accounting professionalism. I would also like to take this time to thank the outstanding team of individuals in the Comptroller’s Department,” said Washoe County Comptroller Paul McArthur.
Government CAFRs are judged by an impartial panel to meet the high standards of the program, including demonstrating a constructive spirit of full disclosure to clearly communicate its financial story.
