Reno, Nev. May 3, 2019. After 32 years serving the Washoe County community, John Slaughter, Washoe County Manager, will retire on June 14, 2019.
Slaughter’s retirement leaves the top executive position at Washoe County open now for qualified applicants. However, while the position is currently open, the deadline to apply is on Tuesday, May 7, 2019.
Qualification requirements include a Master’s degree and five years of responsible management experience, preferably in government or public administration.
