Washoe County Regional Animal Services (WCRAS) is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in an ongoing animal cruelty investigation. The reported incident occurred in the afternoon of September 3 in the 800 block of Nichols Boulevard in Sparks.
The suspect is believed to be Miguel Olier, who is described as approximately 5’9” tall and in his mid-40s. Olier is believed to be in the Reno/Sparks area and may be unhoused or staying at various short-term locations.
The case involves a dog believed to be named “Prince,” a male, black, long-haired Chihuahua/Spaniel mix weighing approximately 13.5 pounds and missing his right hind leg. It is currently unknown whether Prince is still in Olier’s possession.
