Reno, Nev. Aug. 30, 2023. Senior Fest 2023 is back next week, offering tons of fun, food, and resources for Washoe County’s elderly. The Washoe County Human Services Agency’s (HSA) Senior Services Division is proud to sponsor Senior Spectrum’s Senior Fest 2023 at the Reno Town Mall on Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2023, from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Happy to be returning for its 26th year, Senior Fest is a free event, featuring more than 60 businesses and vendors as part of an effort to connect seniors and caregivers to various services in our community. Senior Fest promotes healthy aging and wellness for Washoe County’s elderly.
The following services and much more will be offered to seniors who attend:
- Health screenings.
- Flu shots.
- Covid vaccinations.
- Medicare Advantage.
- VA benefits information.
- Health insurance counseling.
- Info about assisted/independent living.
- Parks and recreation programs.
What: Senior Fest 2023.
Where: Reno Town Mall, located at 4001 S. Virginia St. 89502.
When: Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2023, from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Parking is available at the Reno Town Mall and the Atlantis Resort parking lot. Transportation by RTC is available nearby on Route 1South Virginia St., and Route 6, Peckham Lane.
