Reno, Nev. Nov. 3, 2025. Washoe County’s Senior Services Division invites the community to join us in saluting all veterans Friday, Nov. 7, 2025, from 11 a.m. -12:30 p.m. at the Sparks Senior Center. Root beers will be raised as we join in listening to our National Anthem and the Reno Silver Dollar Chorus sing to honor our incredible veterans.
“We encourage all in our community to come together for a fun morning of festivities, as we celebrate our incredible veterans, who have sacrificed so much for us to have the freedom we share as Americans each and every day,” said Commissioner Clara Andriola.
Who: Washoe County Human Services Agency’s Senior Services Division.
What: Raise a root beer in salute to all veterans. This is a free community event, inviting all veterans, active-duty, retired, and reserve service members, along with their families.
Where: Sparks Senior Center, located at 97 Richards Way, in Sparks.
