Washoe County Library Announces the Arrival of the Sun Valley Library to Go Kiosk

by | Sep 12, 2023

Washoe County Library is excited to announce the arrival of the new Sun Valley Library to Go kiosk! Located at the Sun Valley Neighborhood Center at 115 W. Sixth Ave., the Library to Go kiosk is the result of grant funding and a partnership with the Sun Valley General Improvement District. The new kiosk provides access to library materials for all ages during Sun Valley Community Park hours.

The Library to Go kiosk offers convenient self-serve library access. Patrons with a Washoe County Library card can use the kiosk to place and pick up holds, browse the kiosk collection, and return materials. Patrons can gain instant access to the kiosk by registering for a Washoe County Library card at washoelibrary.org/librarycard.

The Sun Valley community is invited to join Washoe County Library Director Jeff Scott, Assistant Director Stacy McKenzie, and representatives from the Sun Valley General Improvement District for the ribbon cutting celebration at the Sun Valley Neighborhood Center on Wednesday, September 13, at 3 pm.

Funds for this project have been provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Library Services and Technology Act, administered by the Nevada State Library, Archives and Public Records.
