Washoe County Library System knows our community is excited about coding! Computer programming is a digital literacy skill that is increasingly important in today’s technology-driven world. Learning to code builds rational thinking and problem-solving skills, providing powerful tools that transfer to other subjects and create lifelong learners. If you’ve been looking to learn how to code, Washoe County Library System offers free, fun classes for all ages to learn the basics of coding, from preschoolers to retirees! Learning opportunities include drop-in coding clubs, week-long coding camps, and specialized programs, all free at several library locations.
