Downtown Reno Library to Reopen Monday, February 12, 2024

by | Feb 12, 2024

Washoe County Library is excited to announce that the Downtown Reno Library, located at 301 S. Center St., will reopen to the public on Monday, February 12. The building, which is undergoing renovations to its elevator, will reopen while work on the project is completed.

Patrons in need of assistance accessing materials inside the library while the elevator is unavailable can contact library staff for assistance. In addition, browsing collections, restrooms, and computer labs will be available on the main floor until the building is fully ADA compliant.

Hold pickup is now available at the Downtown Reno Library. Story time and Community Court will resume this week, while other library events will resume once the elevator renovation is complete.

Washoe County Library appreciates the community’s support during the renovation, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
