Position Information
I – Under direct supervision, participates in public health investigations and surveillance by gathering data, conducting disease investigations and providing education on communicable and chronic disease including injuries, and prevention recommendations.
II – Under general supervision, performs public health investigations and surveillance by gathering data, conducting disease investigations and providing education on communicable and chronic disease including injuries, and prevention recommendations.
This is an Open Competitive/Countywide Promotional recruitment being conducted to fill a current full-time vacancy in the Washoe County Health District. The list established from this recruitment may be used to fill future vacancies as they occur.
This position is in a flexibly staffed class series. The hiring department has the discretion to hire at any level within the class series for which the applicant may be qualified.
