Hourly Salary: $24.33 – $31.63

Position Information: Under supervision, performs a variety of semiskilled and skilled maintenance in County parks, including landscaped areas, sports facilities and open space; and performs related work as required.
This is an Open Competitive/Countywide Promotional recruitment being conducted to fill a current vacancy in the Community Services Department. The Community Services Department is currently hiring one .75 full time position. The .75 full time position consists of a schedule working 40 hours per week, 9 months out of the year. The incumbent will NOT work during the months of July, August, and September. This position is partially benefited, and incumbents receive vacation, sick leave and holiday pay at a prorated rate. The list established from this recruitment may be used to fill future part time and full-time vacancies as they occur.
Current position information: This position will focus on the duties and responsibilities of greenhouse operations in the Washoe County Greenhouse facility. The position duties include the production and care for plants grown in the greenhouse, as well as running the Link4 system that manages the various functions of the controlled environment.
