Annual Salary: $64,916.80 – $84,302.40

Position Information: Under direct supervision, collects, analyzes and interprets basic criminal intelligence information, crime data and motor vehicle crash data using crime and intelligence methodology and techniques in support of the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office; performs related work.
This is an Open Competitive / Countywide Promotional recruitment being conducted to fill a current vacancy at the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office. This list will also be used to fill future vacancies as they occur.
This is the entry level in the Crime Analyst class series which progresses to the next class in the series (Crime Analyst II, pay range $36.58 – $47.60) upon meeting the probationary requirement of this class (12 months of full-time active service and recommendation from the appointing authority).
This recruitment uses a Training and Experience Exam (T&E) which is due at the time of application.
