Annual Salary (Building Inspector): $77,729.60 – $101,067.20
Annual Salary (Building Inspector Trainee): $66,393.60 – $86,299.20

Building Inspector: The Building Inspector performs skilled building inspection and enforcement work with regard to construction and safety codes and ordinances; performs related work as required.
Building Inspector Trainee: The Building Inspector Trainee receives training in building inspection duties related to construction, safety, codes, and ordinances; and performs related work as required.
Note: This position is in a flexibly staffed class series. The hiring department has the discretion to hire at any level within the class series for which the applicant may be qualified.
