Annual Salary: $71,926.40 – $93,496.00

Position Information: Under general supervision, performs the full range of air quality control duties with a high degree of independence; investigates, monitors, and analyzes existing and potential sources of air pollution; assists with the implementation and enforcement of abatement programs; and performs related work as required.
This is an Open Competitive/Countywide Promotional recruitment being conducted to fill current full-time vacancies in the Washoe County Health District. The list established from this recruitment may be used to fill future vacancies as they occur.
This recruitment uses a Training and Experience Exam (T&E) which is due at the time of application.
This position is in a flexibly staffed class series. The hiring department has the discretion to hire at any level within the class series for which the applicant may be qualified. Applicants interested in being considered for the Air Quality Specialist Trainee and Air Quality Specialist must submit an application for each position.
