NOTE: The figures provided below are approximate, point-in-time estimates and should not be considered exact counts.

3,100 outstanding mail ballots to process and add to results

  • 0 mail ballots remain to be signature verified
  • 900 mail ballots are being sorted and batched
  • 2,200 mail ballots are being extracted and scanned

More than 1,200 mail ballots could not be signature verified and must be cured by the voter by 5 p.m. June 15 to be counted.

550 provisional ballots will be counted if each voter verifies their information by 5 p.m. Friday, June 12.

The turnout for Washoe County in the 2026 Primary Election currently sits at 29.4 percent.

  • Early Vote In-Person: 18,781
  • Election Day In-Person: 17,111
  • Total Mail: 58,467
  • Provisional In-Person: 550

By Party Turnout

  • Democrat: 37,643
  • Republican: 41,515
  • Nonpartisan or Minor Party: 15,201
