Programs on the Porch is back with its wildlife edition, featuring local wildlife professionals presenting information on a variety of species. These presentations will be showcased every Friday night from May 19 through June 23 from the porch of the historic Bowers Mansion.

There will be many family-friendly activities including meeting farm animals from Valley Amigos Ranch, join a massive “find the turkeys” scavenger hunt, create crafts in the Discovery Room, learn about insects with Truckee Meadow Parks Foundation, visit Girl Scouts of Sierra NV themed booth and photo opportunities, play corn hole with KTMB and spin the prize wheel, check out antique tractors and engines, meet Master Gardeners handing out seed bombs, listen to the amazing Washoe County Librarians with story times and activities, and many more partners and activities! Short Tail Coffee will have warm drinks and snacks for purchase.
