The Board of County Commissioners reviewed a status update on the county's Master Plan, a project known as Envision Washoe 2040. This is a high-level plan for the next several decades of development and growth in Washoe County, and incorporates numerous individual area plans and extensive public input.
In a joint effort to combat an overwhelming overcapacity crisis, Washoe County Regional Animal Services (WCRAS), Nevada Humane Society (NHS) and SPCA of Northern NV issue a heartfelt plea for immediate community support.
