The Board of County Commissioners approved an Employee Residence Agreement for a ranger to serve as caretaker at Bowers Mansion Regional Park. The ranger previously lived at Davis Creek Regional Park and lost his residence in the Davis Fire.
Most Washoe County offices will be closed Monday, May 26, in observance of Memorial Day. The Office of the County Clerk at the Washoe County Complex will remain open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for fictitious firm names, notary bond filings and marriage licenses. Passport services will not be available.
