The Northwest Reno Library will undergo heating and cooling replacement and roof retrofit which will necessitate a branch closure. The building will be closed to the public starting Wednesday, May 6, and is expected to reopen late summer. Northwest Reno Library team members will be reassigned to other branches for the duration of the closure.
Hold pickup and book return will be paused but will resume once the repairs are complete. Materials on loan from the Northwest Reno Library can be returned to any Washoe County Library location. Library services will remain available at 11 other branches, and patrons in the Northwest Reno area are invited to visit the Verdi Community Library & Nature Center on Tuesdays from 3 to 6 pm, and on Wednesdays from 2:30 to 6 pm.
