Reno, Nev. April 9, 2026 – The Washoe County Law Library of the Second Judicial District Court has partnered with the Northern Nevada Women Lawyers Association to host a special Lawyer in the Library event to celebrate Law Day 2026.
Attorneys specializing in Family Law, Civil/General Law, Probate Law, and Landlord/Tenant Law will volunteer their time to provide free legal assistance. Each participant will get a 15-minute session to talk with a lawyer. A Spanish interpreter will be available.
It will be held Thursday, April 23, 2026, beginning at 11 a.m. at the Washoe County Law Library at 75 Court St. in downtown Reno. No registration is required. First come, first served. The event will end when all available spots are filled.
All volunteer attorneys are members of the Northern Nevada Women Lawyers Association.
The mission of the Washoe County Law Library is to enhance access to justice by (1) providing legal information, education, resources, tools, and materials, in print and digital formats, to those engaged with the justice system, and (2) partnering with the courts, bar associations, legal clinics, civic organizations, and government entities to help ensure the legal needs of the community are addressed.
