July 8, 2026. Reno/Sparks, Nev. – The Northern Nevada Public Health (NNPH) Air Quality Management Division (AQMD) is cancelling the public hearing previously planned for the District Board of Health (DBOH) Regulations Governing Air Quality Management – PART 040.033 – Food Establishments.

A 30-day period was provided for the public to request a hearing. No requests were received by the July 3, 2026, deadline; therefore, the public hearing has been cancelled. AQMD will proceed with transmitting the revised regulation to the Nevada Department of Environmental Protection (NDEP) for submittal to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
