The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Arsh Bhardwaj, a 25-year-old man and the defendant in an ongoing sexual assault court case.
On Tuesday, June 10, 2025, the Second Judicial District Court denied Bhardwaj’s motion to suppress information and moved his case forward. Bhardwaj is charged with sexually assaulting a minor under 14, which carries a 35 year to life sentence.
After the hearing, the suspect was under GPS surveillance, however, the surveillance went offline Friday, June 13, 2025, around 5:45 p.m. and the suspect missed a meeting with his attorney. Since then, Bhardwaj has not returned phone calls from his attorney, the Assistant District Attorney on the case and/or law enforcement. Bhardwaj and his vehicle have not been located at his residence or his place of work. This afternoon, an arrest warrant was issued for Bhardwaj.
A silver 2024 Mercedes 4-door sedan, bearing Nevada license plate 6317D1 is registered to Bhardwaj.
Anyone with information regarding Bhardwaj or his location is urged to contact the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office at (775) 785-9276.
