The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is monitoring the Floriston Fire, currently burning near Floriston, California.
Our Office is prepared to respond should the fire move into Nevada. While there are currently no evacuation notices for Washoe County related to this fire, we encourage residents to remain aware and prepared in the event conditions change.
