On May 2, 2026, Washoe County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a deceased individual located in an open field near Estates Road and East Patrician Drive.
Washoe County Sheriff’s Office detectives continue to actively investigate this case.
Detectives are asking anyone who frequents or recreates on the trails or hills north of Estates Road, also known as the dirt extension of Estates Road, to contact investigators if they observed anything suspicious or out of the ordinary between April 29 and May 2, or if they believe they may have information related to this case.
