In the early morning hours of February 1, 2025, the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) responded to a call regarding suspicious narcotic activity in the area of Dyal Court in Cold Springs. WCSO Patrol deputies and Detectives began an investigation, applied for, and were granted a search warrant for the residence in question.
This evening, SWAT, in coordination with the Consolidated Bomb Squad, DEA, Search and Rescue Incident Management Team (IMT), and the Northern Nevada Drug Task Force (NNDTF), executed the search warrant. The investigation is ongoing, and several law enforcement units remain on scene processing evidence.
At this time, there is no public safety threat or immediate danger to the community. We ask that the public remain clear of the area until all units have completed their duties.
