On Monday, September 4th, at approximately 12:30 a.m., the Reno Police Department was involved in an officer involved shooting in the 2600 block of Yori Ave in Reno.
The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation and assisted by the Sparks Police Department.
This is an active and ongoing investigation, with no outstanding suspects or threats to the public.
Updates will be released as they become available, and once this investigation is complete, it will be submitted to the Washoe County District Attorney’s Office for review.
