On August 5, 2023, at approximately 09:28 a.m., Washoe County Sheriff’s Office patrol deputies responded to the 5300 block of Woods Dr. in Sun Valley for a reported shooting.
When Deputies arrived on the scene, they located a female victim with a gunshot wound. That female was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Detectives are investigating this as an isolated incident, and there is no outstanding threat to the public.
