On the night of January 22, 2025, Washoe County Sheriff’s Office deputies, in conjunction with Lassen County Sheriff’s Office deputies, responded to the area of Fish Springs Road on a reported Battery with a Deadly Weapon (BDW).
Deputies arrived on scene and located a male adult, who sustained a gunshot wound. The male was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Washoe County Sheriff’s Office detectives have taken over the investigation and are exhausting every investigative lead that develops to ensure the public’s safety is our utmost priority.
