The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to actively investigate the death of Carlos Cadenas (40) that occurred on May 25, 2025, in the area of the Chimney Road dirt extension in Sun Valley.
Detectives are diligently working to determine the circumstances surrounding this incident and identify any individual(s) responsible. We urge anyone with information, no matter how minor it may seem, to come forward to assist in the investigation.
