Two Arrested Following Residential Burglary and Vehicle Theft in Arrowcreek

On the morning of Sunday, August 3, 2025, Washoe County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a residential burglary in the Arrowcreek area. During the course of the burglary, a vehicle was stolen from the residence.

Through investigative efforts, deputies were able to track the stolen vehicle to an address in the area of Patton Drive and Tripp Drive in Reno. Washoe County Sheriff’s Office deputies, with the assistance of the Reno Police Department SWAT team, responded to the location.

Following a lengthy standoff, two suspects were taken into custody, and the stolen vehicle was recovered at the scene.

The suspects have been identified as 26-year-old Kencil Davis and 23-year-old Ellaine Ferrer, both from Reno.  Both individuals have been booked into the Washoe County Detention Facility on the following charges:

  • Residential Burglary (NRS 205.060)
  • Grand Larceny (NRS 205.220)
  • Grand Larceny of a Motor Vehicle (NRS 205.228)

In addition, Kencil Davis was charged with two counts of Child Abuse, Neglect or Endangerment.

The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office would like to extend its sincere gratitude to the Reno Police Department for their critical assistance in resolving this incident safely and effectively.

This investigation remains active, and no further information will be released at this time.
