Regional law enforcement agencies host inaugural Faith and Blue Community Cornhole Tournament

The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with the Reno Police Department, Sparks Police Department, University of Nevada Police Services, and the Nevada Highway Patrol are excited to host the inaugural Faith and Blue Community Cornhole Tournament Saturday, October 9, 2021, from noon – 4:00 p.m. at the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows.

National Faith & Blue Weekend is designed to bring together community members, faith leaders, and law enforcement professionals to strengthen the relationship between law enforcement and the communities we serve.

The cornhole tournament is being facilitated by Northern Nevada Cornhole. Two-person teams will compete in a round-robin, into a non-sanctioned double elimination. Awards will go to first, second, and third place teams.

This free, family-friendly event will include music, raffle prizes, and food trucks.
