Detectives with the Regional Crime Suppression Unit and the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office have arrested two more suspects in an armed robbery which occurred at the Quick Stop in Sun Valley.
Patrol deputies were called to the convenience store at the intersection of W 1st Avenue and Sun Valley Boulevard shortly before 5:00 a.m. on September 4, 2021, on reports of an armed robbery which just occurred.
Utilizing surveillance footage, detectives were able to identify three individuals who participated in the armed robbery. They arrested one of three suspects, Clyde Phillips, by 10:30 p.m. the night of September 4th.
LeCarson Pringle, 31, is seen as the getaway driver in the surveillance images. He was arrested by detectives on September 14, 2021. Pringle faces one felony count of armed robbery; one felony count of possession of a controlled substance less than 14 grams, first offense; and one misdemeanor count of resisting a public officer.
Aleea Mories, 20, also an accomplice in the armed robbery was arrested by detectives on September 15, 2021. Mories faces one felony count of armed robbery.
There are no additional or outstanding suspects. This incident is believed to be an isolated incident and is unrelated to recent convenience store robberies in the region.
