Washoe County Sheriff’s Office detectives have identified Manuel Lopez-Gomez as the suspect in connection with a homicide that occurred in Incline Village on April 10, 2025.
Following the identification, a description of Lopez-Gomez, his vehicle, and the last known direction of travel was distributed to surrounding law enforcement agencies. The California Highway Patrol located and stopped Lopez-Gomez in Kern County, Ca. He was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Kern County Jail.
Today, April 16, 2025, Manuel Lopez-Gomez was extradited to Washoe County and booked into the Washoe County Detention Facility on a charge of Open Murder.
