Supporting Our K9s

Barks and Badges benefits Washoe County K9 Partners, a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting the Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit. Through community donations, K9 Partners has:

  • Funded nearly every K9 currently serving on the team

  • Provided life-saving protective vests and helicopter-compatible deployment harnesses

  • Supplied in-vehicle temperature monitoring systems to ensure K9 safety during patrols

This event offers a rare and rewarding opportunity to meet the deputies and K9s who serve our community—and to witness the dedication and teamwork that defines the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office.
