Aug. 4, 2026. Reno/Sparks, Nev. – Northern Nevada Public Health (NNPH) is hosting its final back-to-school vaccine clinic this Saturday, Aug. 8, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the main NNPH clinic location at 1001 E. 9th St., Building B, in Reno.

NNPH public health nurses will provide school-required and recommended vaccinations for students aged 4-18.

Appointments are available and encouraged, but walk-ins will be available on a limited basis. This is NNPH’s final weekend clinic before school starts in Washoe County.

Parents and guardians planning to attend should know:

• Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
• Bring a photo ID for the parent or guardian.
• Bring the child’s insurance card, if available. Families without insurance can receive vaccines at no cost.
• Bring vaccination records if the child received vaccines outside Nevada or the United States.

Parking Update – Washoe County Complex Construction 

Due to construction at the Washoe County Administration Complex, which includes the closure of the Wells Avenue entrance, those seeking vaccinations are asked to enter the complex at the 9th Street entrance – see map below.

Signage will be present and personnel will be onsite to guide you to the clinic.

NNPH’s main clinic is open Monday-Friday, and offers vaccinations throughout the week. Please call 775-328-2402 to schedule an appointment.
