Oct. 22, 2025, Reno/Sparks, Nev. – Northern Nevada Public Health (NNPH) invites members of the food service community to attend a Food Safety Inspection Bootcamp on Monday, Oct. 27, 2025, from 9-10:30 a.m., at NNPH’s main location at 1001 E. 9th St., Building B.

NNPH’s Food Safety Program aims to collaborate with businesses on preventive measures to maintain compliance with food safety regulations. Both food handlers and consumers are welcome to participate.

The theme for the bootcamp is “Not all monsters are in the movies – some are on the menu!” The class will concentrate on the inspection process and how to inspect your own establishment, followed by practical exercises involving actual violations.
