Residents encouraged to provide input on NNPH-Renown Health community survey

Oct 29, 2025

Oct. 29, 2025. Reno/Sparks, Nev. – Northern Nevada Public Health (NNPH) and Renown Health launched a community survey as part of the 2026-2028 Community Health Assessment (CHA) and are encouraging residents to participate.

This survey, which takes about 10-15 minutes to complete and is available in English and Spanish, is an opportunity for residents of Washoe County to share what matters most to them when it comes to the health and wellbeing of our community.

Take the survey at this link. Participants are eligible to win a gift card.

Anyone whose primary home is in Washoe County is encouraged to participate (only one survey per person) and share their experiences and perspectives. Responses will help local health leaders fill in data gaps and identify community priorities, as well as guide decisions that will improve and shape future programs, services, resources, and overall health and quality of life for everyone in Washoe County.

This survey explores issues such as food security, neighborhood and workplace safety, healthcare access, transportation, financial challenges, and more. We also ask Washoe County residents to rank their top three health-related needs.

All of this information will help us prioritize the health goals and services in Washoe County.

The Community Health Assessment, which is a document that helps guide several area nonprofits with data, insights and analysis, is expected to be released in early 2026.
