A tentative public hearing is scheduled for the December 17, 2026 District Board of Health Meeting taking place at 1 p.m. in the Washoe County Chambers located in Building A at 1001 E. 9th St., Reno, NV 89512. If no requests for public hearing are received, the public hearing will be cancelled. AQMD will notify the public of any changes or cancellation via email and on OurCleanAir.com. In February 2024, the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) strengthened the PM2.5 annual standard from 12.0 to 9.0 µ/m3. This I-SIP updates the previous plan adopted in 2015 to reflect the revised standard and demonstrates to the EPA that the air quality management program will meet the Clean Air Act requirements to implement, maintain, and enforce the NAAQS.
