June 12, 2026. Reno/Sparks, Nev. – Northern Nevada Public Health’s (NNPH) WIC program is preparing to transition services from its Moana Lane location to a new location that is yet to be determined.
The Moana location will close June 19, 2026; however, the main NNPH WIC (Women, Infants & Children) location will remain open for the public Monday-Friday at 1001 E. 9th St., Building B, Reno, NV 89512.
WIC services will continue without interruption, and participants can expect the same reliable support and resources they receive today.
All clients using the Moana location have been notified of the change, and travel accommodations may be provided for clients needing this assistance.
When the future location is finalized, NNPH will provide WIC participants and the community with complete details.
NNPH is accepting new clients
NNPH encourages families who are pregnant, postpartum, or caring for infants or children under 5 years old to sign up for WIC, a free program that helps families access healthy foods, nutrition guidance, breastfeeding support, and referrals to other community resources.
