Nov. 13, 2023. Reno/Sparks, Nev. Northern Nevada Public Health (formerly Washoe County Health District) is proposing revisions to Environmental Health Services and Air Quality Management fees, due to higher costs to perform these services.
Members of the public are encouraged to provide their input on these proposed changes. Feedback collected at these workshops will be used to develop recommendations for the District Board of Health. Northern Nevada Public Health (NNPH) also encourages people to fill out our survey to provide information on the matter.
Businesses and individuals affected by these fees will receive more information and have an opportunity for input at three public workshops this month – available virtually on Zoom or in person at Northern Nevada Public Health, 1001 E. 9th Street, Building B, Reno, Conference Room A.
Workshop Details:
- Thursday, Nov. 16, 2023, from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
- Friday, Nov. 17, 2023, from noon-1 p.m.
- Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023, from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Following these workshops, the public will be notified of proposed changes, followed by a public hearing. Spanish-speaking staff will be in attendance for the workshops to assist residents.

- Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024 at 1 p.m.
